http://www.scientificamerican.com/article/bpa-free-plastic-bags-in-boxed-wines/

“The short answer is: ‘It depends.’ A fairly recent innovation in wine packaging, the so-called Bag-in-Box (BIB) dispenser makes use of a plastic bag with a nozzle surrounded by a corrugated cardboard box. The whole package sits easily on a shelf and usually features a built-in spout for easy pouring and resealing.”

Bismuth the Anarchist says:

Actually it's my birthday and listening to this made me want some wine.

I went and looked Ans I have 3 types. a box, a merlot and a dark red Californian one. I tried all three and the merlot was my favorite. the box tasted too bitter and I think the Californian tasted pungent or something. definitely flavorful but not in a good way.

my roommate bought it for me because it was the most expensive at the liquor store so they reasoned it would be good. I feel a little guilty.

Silverhouse says:

MD 20/20 best wine

Poverty Gaming says:

I think it would be funny to steal a rich man's wine collection.

brandon haist says:

off topic but they look good together…. just saying..

Keisha Kelm says:

Trace! You are awesome you are actually more knowledgeable then you give your self credit for! And actually I have my level 1 of W-set 🙂 do you have an Instagram?

Snakeyes244 says:

This chick has no clue what she's talking about

GorillaGuerilla says:

My best wine experience was a Barolo, sadly I forgot exactly which one it was, but DAMN – it tasted delicious!

Noah Nobody says:

I'm kind of crushing on Kat. She's such a sweetie.

scotty ozzy says:

I have to say as a wine maker the comment of screw top not allowing the wine to age is incorrect. I have witnessed aging curves in wines. The difference between cork and screw top is that a cork can not allow a controlled amount of oxygen into the wine which creates bottle variances. Screw tops there is a warding pack under the seal that allows some micro oxygenation.

GlassHouse5 says:

Thumbs up if like Goon.

Ana Sanchez says:

I really liked these wine episode 🍷🍷very informative, thanks testube

teknophyle1 says:

Call me a skeptic, but I think most of the advice or preference regarding wines is BS. Just cultural norms perpetuated by wine-snobs. But maybe I only feel that way after watching "Adam Ruins Everything"

Bianca Briteside says:

why on earth do you need to know the place and the date of any given wine? these people are such snobs to even formulate an exam on it. guys save your money, drink vodka.

Vinovantage says:

Aerating wine works because alcohol binds to flavour compounds. Swirling/decanting evaporates alcohol and brings the aromas to your nose.

Gowen Getter says:

My man Trace on the tune. A secret stalker. Mr steal your girl LOL…..

Brian Seiler says:

You…uh…you guys know that you're not helping, right? Kat, in particular? I'm not going to sit here and tell you that everything you're saying is bullshit because there are obviously different flavors in different wines, but the way you're presenting these degrees of potential gradation between different alcoholic fluids as though they're objective fact is rapidly approaching maximum silliness. An awful lot of wine is entirely confined within the imagination of the person drinking it and burdening the whole conversation with all of…just THIS (five episodes of words about an essentially subjective experience on a channel theoretically concerned about facts) is a great deal of what makes wine just the worst.

I was promised more rational conversation three episodes ago, so I'm sure that you'll spend SOME of the next episode walking this back a bit, but…just yikes.

iysisrose says:

He asked her where did U learn all this ? she read it on line like U , in front of U. Sitting their like u guys are comparing minds instead your comparing laptop notes… I SHOULD JUST GOOGLE WINE…..

Aditya Manuwal says:

Watch 'Adam Ruins Everything' and it will open your eyes. Actually, it is scientifically proven that every wine taster is pretending. Just changing the colour of whine changes their description by the tasters. I think its better to have activating stuff rather than a depressant like wine which also contains alcohol. Do a series on marijuana. 😛

Bobby Harper says:

Who the hell drinks white wine anyways?

redlinerer says:

these wine episodes suck, some good information but i lost count of how many times that girl said "i think" or simply just didnt know an answer and made something up that sounded right. how about if your going to make a video you actually research the answers to the questions you will be asked if your not sure instead of just relying on what you think. maybe take her glass of wine away so she can concentrate better

estebanrueda1 says:

hahaha mason jars

SpartaSpartan117 says:

Should be episode 4 of 5 in describing.

ronan o malley says:

Can't bate a drop o' Buckfast

Jesus Christ says:

NOW DO THIS WITH WEED, and see peoples horrifying actions xD

Syed Shan-e-Ali Zaidi says:

trace what about doing a video on spaceX ? just like the one you did on new horizon. it would be awsome.

yi'Wha says:

It's all bullshit folks.

Spartacus Mills says:

So I should only swig white wine directly from the bottle from now on, got it.

Except Riesling of course, I'm not a monster.

CinmarRS says:

I'm kinda sick of hearing about wine but i still watch these.
